It depends on what has failed. A renovation can cover retiling and regrouting, resurfacing, replacing lights, inlets and fittings, adding water features, reworking the layout, pump room and equipment works, installing a heater and chiller unit, and landscaping around the pool. Most projects combine several of these rather than one in isolation.
Retiling means removing the existing tiling and grout and reinstating the finish with new tiles. Resurfacing addresses the pool surface itself where it has deteriorated. Which one your pool needs depends on the condition of the existing finish, and in many cases the two are done together as part of the same renovation.
Water loss does not automatically mean the pool has to be rebuilt. Leaks can come from plumbing, fittings, light housings or the pool structure, and the fix is very different in each case. We offer leak detection as a service so the source is identified first, rather than committing to a rebuild before anyone knows what is actually wrong.
If a pool genuinely cannot be brought back through renovation, we also design and build new pools, so the conversation continues with the same team rather than starting again with someone else.
There is no single price, because no two pools arrive in the same condition. Retiling and resurfacing alone sits at one end, and a renovation including a layout change, new fittings, pump room works and a heater and chiller unit sits at the other. Yes. Landscaping runs through the same team as the renovation, so the pool and its surroundings are handled as one project rather than as separate jobs with separate contractors.
Two things affect your DEWA bill here. Identifying and repairing a leak stops water being lost continuously, and updating pump room equipment addresses plant that is no longer running efficiently. If you are adding a heater and chiller unit where there was none before, that does add consumption, and we will explain what that involves before you decide.
AMC pricing depends on the pool and how often it is visited. Renovation clients can move onto an Annual Maintenance Contract at handover, so the new finish is looked after from the start rather than left to deteriorate again.
